We are equally committed to protecting the privacy of our customers, partners and associates. Under federal law we are required to give you this privacy policy and practices concerning the personal information we collect.
If after reading this notice you have questions, please contact us at:
We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:
Information we receive from you when you set up a user account with us
Information about your transactions with us
If you choose to take a CPS class or order a CPS publication, information needed during the registration/publication order process includes: your name, title, organization, email address, phone number, fax number, mailing address, billing/shipping address and billing information such as card, card type, number and expiration date. CPS uses the email address, fax number and mailing address to provide additional information (course location, start date etc.) about your selected course. Our customer service representatives may also use the information to contact you in the event that they need to clarify your registration or publications order. The card information is used by PayPal to process the related transactions.
How to Opt Out or Stop Certain Disclosures
CPS will periodically send you email messages, faxes and postal mailings describing courses and training opportunities. At any time, customers may opt out of receiving promotional mail, faxes or email from CPS by sending an e-mail to info@cpstraining.org.
Please provide a name, company name, contact phone number, email address and detailed information within your request so that we might process it quickly. If you choose to opt out entirely from receiving promotional emails, you will then only receive emails to confirm a course registration, event or Webinar registration, or e-mails from our customer service representatives seeking clarification on a course or publication order. We may also need to send operational emails to inform you of any changes to our site that might affect registrations or other transactions.
Notification of Changes
This privacy policy was posted on June 30, 2010. We reserve the right to change, modify or amend this policy at any time. If we make any significant change to this policy, we will post notice of the change on ESI International for a period of at least six months after the change is implemented.
Security
The security of your personal information is very important to us. In our efforts to protect your online transactions, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), which will automatically encrypt your personal information before it is sent over the Internet (if your browser is SSL capable and most are). Also, credit card transactions are processed securely by PayPal.
CPS does not share email address with third parties.
